Etbauer wins record 50th round in seventh performance of 51st Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Dec. 10, 2009] LAS VEGAS -- No cowboy has performed at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo the way that five-time World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Billy Etbauer has in his 21 appearances, and he added to his legacy in front of 17,069 fans at the Thomas & Mack Center in Round 7. Mote remains hot in Round 6 as team roping drama builds at Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Dec. 9, 2009] LAS VEGAS -- Two-time World Champion Bareback Rider Bobby Mote may want to ask Delta Air Lines for a sponsorship. The Culver, Ore., cowboy won his second straight Wrangler NFR round on a horse with Delta in its name. A night after winning a share of Round 5 with an 88.5-point ride on Frontier Rodeo's Delta Ship, Mote teamed with the horse's brother, Frontier Rodeo's Delta Force, for 87.5 points to win the sixth performance in front of 17,018 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Brazile-Ohl tie headlines Round 5 of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Dec. 8, 2009] LAS VEGAS -- The rodeo world was waiting for nine-time World Champion Trevor Brazile to make an impact at the 51st Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, and the wait ended in Round 5 in front of 17,027 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Brazile, who had won just $7,188 combined in team roping and tie-down roping through four rounds, tied six-time World Champion Cody Ohl for the top spot in the tie-down roping with a 7.1-second run to earn a $15,343 check. Feild continues family's success in Thomas & Mack Center during Round 2 of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Dec. 5, 2009] LAS VEGAS -- Twenty five years after his father Lewis won his first of three consecutive all-around gold buckles at the Thomas & Mack Center the first year the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo was held in Las Vegas, bareback rider Kaycee Feild got a win of his own in the same building.
