CALGARY, ALTA. – The stakes are high at the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE) and Stampede as the final stop of the season for the Wrangler Professional Rodeo Tour kicks into high gear tonight in Armstrong, B.C.

More than 300 professional rodeo athletes are set to compete over five performances in Armstrong, B.C. from September 2 to 6, with many vying for a spot at next month’s Wrangler Professional Rodeo Tour Championship in Calgary, Alta.

And, with just five rodeos left on the Canadian Professional Rodeos Association (CPRA) regular season schedule, and with the impending Canadian Finals Rodeo (CFR) on the horizon, the air will be full of excitement for contestants and fans alike.

It’s also the 110th anniversary of the IPE this year, so make sure to get there early and take in some of those sights and sounds before each evening rodeo performance, which all kick off at 8 p.m.
