Irwin places seventh in collegiate rodeo championships
[Aug. 14, 2009] CASPER, Wyo. — At over six-feet tall, Kyle Irwin of Robertsdale sits pretty high in the saddle anyway. This Friday, August 14 at 6 p.m., ESPNU will be airing two hours of collegiate rodeo competition from the 2009 College Nationals Finals Rodeo including Irwin's event.
 
Delta teen wins Little Britches title
[Aug. 13, 2009] During the first five days of the rodeo, each contestant competed in two rounds for each event in which he or she qualified for the finals. After everyone competed on two head or two runs, the top 15 contestants in each event became eligible to compete in the short round performance, the championship round, on Saturday.
