International Finals Rodeo Begins January 15th[Jan. 7, 2010] With the start of 2010 one of the first events of the year is the big International Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City, OK. Tickets for the 40th International Finals Rodeo (IFR) January 15-17 at State Fair Arena are now on sale.
Born in Oklahoma, The IFR determines the World Champions of the International Professional Rodeo Association. The Oklahoma City based association is the sports second largest rodeo association. It sanctions more than 300 rodeos in the United States and Canada. The IFR offers $350,000 in prize money and awards, making it Oklahoma’s largest professional rodeo. By Courtesy IPRA

Etbauer wins record 50th round in seventh performance of 51st Wrangler National Finals Rodeo[Dec. 10, 2009] LAS VEGAS -- No cowboy has performed at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo the way that five-time World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Billy Etbauer has in his 21 appearances, and he added to his legacy in front of 17,069 fans at the Thomas & Mack Center in Round 7.
