FSN to air Toughest Cowboy playoffs this weekend from Music City[Feb. 28, 2008] The Playoffs for the 2008 World’s Toughest Rodeo™ featuring Toughest Cowboy presented by Jagermeister, rolls into the Sommet Center in Nashville, TN, and Fox Sports Network (FSN) will broadcast all the exciting action beginning Saturday at midnight.
At 45, Etbauer still riding high on broncs[Feb. 27, 2008] Who said bronc riding is a young man's sport? At age 45, Billy Etbauer will definitely disagree with that notion. The five-time world champion keeps on ticking, just like the old Timex commercial used to say. He continues to beat contestants half his age.
World, DNCFR champions headline 2008 Pocatello field[Feb. 25, 2008] The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) announced the field of contestants who have qualified for the 2008 Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (DNCFR) presented by U. S. Smokeless Tobacco on March 19-22, at the Holt Arena at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. The DNCFR is the crowning event of the PRCA’s 12 circuit system of regional competition.
Broussard picks up big win in the Twin Cities, Murphy remains atop the standings for Jager Ranch[Feb. 25, 2008] The Xcel Energy Center in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul was the featured venue for the seventh stop on the 2008 World's Toughest Rodeo™ Tour featuring Toughest Cowboy™ presented by Jagermeister. Eight cowboys took center stage in front of the near capacity crowd competing in the revolutionary, ironmen of rodeo competition where cowboys ride in the three roughstock events in one night in a new match style competition. Super Saturday, San Antonio style: Season’s first $1 million rodeo enters final week[Feb. 11, 2008] COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, the reigning and three-time PRCA Indoor Rodeo of the Year, enters the home stretch this week with the final six performances that Saturday will crown event champions for the year’s first rodeo to award $1 million in prize money. In addition, San Antonio’s second installment on the Dodge Xtreme Bulls Tour, presented by B&W Hitches, highlights Saturday’s championship-day festivities as well.
Murphy takes Philadelphia by storm to extend his lead for Jäger Ranch[Feb. 11, 2008] The 2008 World’s Toughest Rodeo featuring Toughest Cowboy presented by Jagermeister was center stage at the Wachovia Spectrum in Philadelphia for the fifth stop on the nine stop tour. Eight cowboys remain alive in the ironmen of rodeo competition where the cowboys wear jerseys and ride in the three roughstock events in one night in a new match style competition and with only four stops left after Philadelphia, it is now or never for someone to make a move to separate them from the rest of the field .
