A rare opportunity to learn from the legends at a bronc riding clinic will present itself on December 18, 19 and 20, at Diamond A Arena in Oak Ridge, Missouri.
Three time Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider and National Cowboy Hall of Fame inductee Monty ‘Hawkeye’ Henson will instruct the saddle bronc riding, while Randy Outhier, four time IPRA Association bareback riding qualifier, will teach the bareback riding.
Henson will also play and sing at a barn dance at the Diamond A on Saturday night from 9 pm until midnight. Admission to the public is $10 at the door, students and their parents are free.
The three day clinic focuses on one-on-one instruction on both a bucking machine and horses provided by Mark Johnson of Universal Rodeos, LLC.
Student tuition is $350 for the three day event, a $100 deposit and proof of insurance is required by December 7. Students are asked to bring their own equipment, but equipment will be provided for those in need. Students 18 years old and under must be accompanied by a parent.
The Drury Inn at Jackson, Missouri is the official hotel and will provide special rates for guests participating in this clinic who reserve rooms on or before December 8.
