DENVER – The Playoffs for the 2008 World’s Toughest Rodeo™ featuring Toughest Cowboy™ presented by Jägermeister, rolls into the Sommet Center in Nashville, TN, and Fox Sports Network (FSN) will broadcast all the exciting action beginning Saturday at midnight. Following seven regular-season stops it is time to separate the men from the boys in this one-of-a-kind ironman of rodeo event. This revolutionary rodeo competition is the only tour where each cowboy must ride two broncs and a bull in one night. The match winners in Nashville will advance to the Championship in Columbus, OH, and will move one step closer to answering the burning question, “Who will win Jäger Ranch?”

The match-up that everyone is talking about is actually the top seeded cowboy, Bandy Murphy, going against the eighth seeded cowboy Chad Eubank. Eubank, who returned to the Tour last week in St. Paul following a knee injury to B.J. Schumacher, is likely to be a big threat as he has nothing to lose and everything to gain. With the playoffs setup as a winner take all type format, meaning the winner of each match will advance to the Championship round in Columbus, it is really anyone’s game and everyone better come ready to ride as there are no guarantees.

The second seeded cowboy Shane Proctor of Powell, Wyo., will face the seventh seeded cowboy Jared Green of Socorro, N.M. After a disappointing finish in St. Paul, Green will be looking for a little redemption in Nashville, while Proctor hopes to keep his momentum going on his quest for Jäger Ranch.

In the three versus six seed match up it will be Erik Wolford of Clinton, Mich., doing battle with Clovis Crane of Lebanon, Pa. Crane, who is sponsored by Jägermeister, would like nothing better than to win Jäger Ranch, while Wolford, who is sponsored by Wrangler, is determined to stop Crane in his quest for the title. Either way one of these two will move one step closer to winning the ranch following the stop in Nashville.

The final match up in the Playoffs pits Trey Broussard of Esterwood, La., against Nelson Tsosie of Farmington, N.M. With the closest seeding, this match-up should be good watching.

Fans can watch each exciting episode of Toughest Cowboy weekly on several FSN affiliates in primetime (day and time depend on each affiliate) and at midnight every Saturday nationwide, please consult local listings or log onto www.toughestcowboy.com for times in your area. Each show will take fans into the heart of the action to savor the triumph, suffer the anguish and share the intensity of the ultimate challenge that is Toughest Cowboy. Nowhere else will you see eight cowboys riding bulls and broncs all in one night in the same arena in a match style format.

Rodeo is among the fastest growing sports in America, and Toughest Cowboy presented by Jägermeister is revolutionizing the sport by introducing an exciting and innovative format to new audiences in venues across the United States. Unlike other rodeos where riders usually compete in just one discipline, Toughest Cowboy is an unprecedented test of endurance as all competitors must ride in three disciplines in one night (Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding and Bull Riding). The events feature head-to-head matches throughout the season leading to the playoffs and championship…ultimately crowning someone the Toughest Cowboy Champion.

Toughest Cowboy is a true test of endurance and strength and only the strong will survive. Each competitor must come ready to ride both bulls and broncs every night eight seconds at a time. In the end, one competitor will be crowned the champion and become the new owner of Jäger ranch.
