World Finals will be part of Fort Worth's NCHA Futurity in 2009
[Sep. 26, 2008]
The National Cutting Horse Association hosts the 23-day extravaganza known as the Futurity in Fort Worth every year. It’s one of the biggest spectacles at the Will Rogers Coliseum every fall/winter, with big stars in the stands and sometimes on the arena floor...Turns out, it can get even bigger. After an executive committee meeting held Sept. 8-9, the NCHA has decided to integrate its World Finals into the Futurity beginning in 2009.

Hoffman: Cogdell family big players on rodeo circuit
[Feb. 14, 2008] When I pulled up the results of the National Cutting Horse Association World Finals in Amarillo earlier this week, it was no surprise that a Cogdell was at the top of the leaderboard. The Cogdell family lives on a 160,000 acre ranch near Tulia, Claude and Silverton and they're big players on the cutting horse circuits. Over the years, I've interviewed members of the family on numerous occasions after they have finished in the money at major shows in Fort Worth
