The Extreme Bullriding Tour is headed for its annual stop in Tecumseh, NE, August 9th. The event will once again be hosted by the Johnson County Ag and Mechanical Society at the Johnson County fairgrounds. The tour will be bringing to town the riders of the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) and the Bullriders Of America (BOA) along with the bulls of the Double S Bull Company for a battle of man against beast. To spice up the night 4 men will match their wits and skill in a one on one match-up with the lean, meaning fighting bulls of the Double S Bull Company in a freestyle bullfighting competition sanctioned by the Midwest Bullfighters Association.

This is a special event for the bull riders as they will not only be competing for the $2000 added money, but this event is a double point event toward winning the 2008 Extreme Bullriding Tour Championship and the M & M Custom Camper the champion will receive along with the Frontier Trophy Championship Buckle and other prizes. The champion of this event will also receive the much sought after Jerry Nolte Memorial Buckle made by Frontier Trophy Buckles and given each year by White Buffalo Productions in honor of the well known rodeo judge and rodeo supporter who called Tecumseh home for so many years. For the last two years Jimmy Twedt has won this event and all eyes will be on him to see if he can make it three in a row.

Straight from his appearance at the Bullriders of America Finals where he was honored as the Barrelman of the Finals and Specialty Act of the Finals will be Hugo, Oklahoma’s Allan Dessel performing the acts that won him this prestigious award. Announcing the event and playing straight man for Allan will be Russ Warren of Owensville, MO.

Action will begin at 7 PM and there will be food and a beer garden on the premises.
