Oklahoma City, Okla. (February 13, 2010) - Round 2 of the Express Classic in Oklahoma City proved to be just as exciting as Round 1. Only this time J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.) didn’t have to split his winnings. Mauney won round two with the first big ride of the weekend, receiving 91.0 points on Top Notch from Martinez Bucking Bulls, LLC. He also put $2,730 in his pocket for the round win.
Austin Meier (Kinta, Oklahoma) showed what he was made of in front of his home state crowd, coming in second place right behind Mauney. Meier made the buzzer on Gringo Honeymoon (Jerry Nelson, Jr.) for 89.25 points and $1,950. Third place in Round 2 went to Oregon cowboy Cody Campbell (Summerville, Ore.), after he rode More Bucks (Jaynes Gang/Peterson/Mansour/Langhans/Nelson/ Teague) and received 88.25 points and $1,170.
Josh Koschel (Greeley, Colo.), who is quietly moving his way up in the BFTS World Standings, and veteran Ednei Caminhas (P. Alves, Sao Paulo, Brazil) rounded out the top five in Round 2. Koschel stayed on California Dreaming (Frontier/Teague/McBride & Wegman) for 88.25 points and fourth place, while Caminhas took fifth in the round with 87.75 points on Party Time (Hebert Bucking Bulls/Georgia Akers).

Sean Willingham suffered a concussion after getting tossed from Jake (Lynn Rice/Mike Lane). He is probably for Round 3 tomorrow.
LJ Jenkins bruised his ribs after a rough ride on Tight Rope (Cunningham/Boyd & Floyd). He is probable for Round 3.
Brian Richardson suffered a concussion in Round 1 and will not ride for the rest of the weekend.
