
PUEBLO, Colo. (September 30, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders announced that fans are again being given a voice in the selection of the PBR World Champion Bull.
Voting has begun and fans will be able to cast their vote at http://pbr.com/bestbull/ through 4 p.m. MT on Friday, Oct. 1, to select two of the PBR World Champion Bull contenders. In addition to the fan vote, the Top 40 bull riders on the elite Built Ford Tough Series will select five bulls and PBR Livestock Director Cody Lambert will have the option of including one as well.
The contenders for 2010 World Champion Bull will be announced on CBS during the “Built Ford Tough Road to Vegas presented by Cooper Tires,” a special that will be broadcast nationally on Oct. 17 (Please check local listings for time). The broadcast will be a prelude to the 2010 PBR World Finals on Oct. 20-24 in Las Vegas, where the coveted PBR Championship Buckle and a $1 million bonus are up for grabs at the single richest bull riding event in the world.
The 2010 World Champion Bull is the bull who accumulates the highest total bull score during the 2010 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 20-24. The winner will be announced on Oct. 24 after the final round of competition.
