PBR on CBS!

NEW YORK, N.Y. (October 21, 2009) - The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) will broadcast the Built Ford Tough Race to Vegas show on CBS on Sunday, October 25. Please check your local listings for exact times in your area. The show is a season in review, recapping the best rides and wrecks from the first event in 2009 in Baltimore through last weekend’s final regular season event in Uncasville, Conn.

The Race to Vegas show will also highlight the 2009 Bull of the Year contenders and will feature interviews with the top 3 riders in the world – current world no. 1 rider Kody Lostroh (Longmont, Colo.), 2008 PBR World Champion Guilherme Marchi (Leme, SP, Brazil), and North Carolina superstar J.B. Mauney (Mooresville, N.C.). Lostroh and Mauney are looking to take the first world title in their career while Marchi is looking to be the first rider in PBR history to win back-to-back world championships. Several other riders are still in contention to come from behind and take the coveted title as there are 6,500 points up for grabs at the World Finals.

Lostroh, Marchi, and Mauney as well as rest of the top 40 bull riders in the world will compete for the 2009 PBR World Championship, the desirable gold buckle, and the $1 million bonus on Oct. 30-Nov. 8. The world-class event will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., and will not only feature the world’s best riders, but the top bovine athletes the PBR has to offer!
