Fort Worth, Texas (February 12, 2010) – It was a beautiful Friday evening in El Paso and at the County Coliseum the best bull riders and bulls in the world turned out in full force and wowed a full house. Night one of the Casa Ford Tuff Hedeman West Texas Shootout presented by Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino crowned Nate Perry, a relative newcomer to CBR.
“I’m real happy to get on the CBR Tour, I rode well in Clovis last week and this is the first televised event of the year so I’m looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.”
Nate, an Oklahoma native, drew Double Scoop in the first round and rode him to a 90 , the top score in the round. He choose Jaw Breaker as his first pick in a round draft and scored 89.5 as the last ride of the evening.(179.5Total).
The Casa Ford Tuff Hedeman West Texas Challenge Presented by Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino will be back for a second night on Saturday- show starts at 8PM, Free Tailgate down party at 5PM. Only a few tickets remain for Saturdays show.
Bull of the Event is Mike Sellers #91 Here’s the Deal, Jake Littlefield rode him in the short round for a 91.5.
