PBR Legend, Adriano Mores, To Be Honored at Retirement Party Hosted by South Point
[Sep. 15, 2008] The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is proud to honor PBR Living Legend Adriano Moraes (Cachoeira Paulista, SP, Brazil) at his retirement party, held at the South Point Hotel & Casino. The "Adriano Moraes Retirement Celebration" luncheon will be held on Thursday, November 6 in the Grand Ballroom. The event will start at 12 p.m. and tickets are $20. Over a career that spans fifteen years, Moraes has won almost $3.5 million in earnings and has 29 event wins under his belt. [Sep. 15, 2008] The U.S. Border Patrol Invitational presented by Cooper Tires treated fans to two action packed evenings of the best bull riding in the world. In its ninth consecutive year in Grand Rapids, Mich., the 27th stop of the elite Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) Built Ford Tough Series presented by Wrangler (BFTS)...North Carolina fan favorite bull rider J.B. Justin McBride Becomes Richest Cowboy in History!

Up and Coming Bull Rider Injured, Prepares for Surgery
[Sep. 11, 2008] The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) regrets to announce that bull rider Koben Puckett (Canyon, Texas) was seriously injured on Washburn 590 of Mike Lane and Billy Downard at the Mesquite Championship Discovery Tour event on Saturday, September 6. PRCA ANNOUNCES HIRING OF KARL STRESSMAN
[Sep. 11, 2008] The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) announced today that longtime Western industry leader Karl Stressman has agreed to join the PRCA as President and CEO of PRCA Properties and Interim CEO of the PRCA. Stressman has been involved in rodeo and the Western industry for more than 20 years. For the past 12 years he has been Director of Event Marketing for Wrangler Jeans and Shirts. In that capacity, Stressman has worked closely with the PRCA in promoting the sport of rodeo, including the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” campaign, which Stressman co-founded as a result of his wife’s successful battle with cancer.
