Wrangler NFR first-timers Joe Gunderson (bareback riding), Billy Bugenig (steer wrestling), Colby Lovell (team roping – heading) and Clif Cooper (tie-down roping) all took home checks for $17,512 after winning the opening round of the 52nd installment of the “Super Bowl of Rodeo” in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,021. Former Cowtown Rodeo owner Howard Harris III passes away[Nov. 23, 2010] Howard Harris III, a former national collegiate all-around champion who co-founded the historic Cowtown Rodeo series with his dad, Stoney, and later owned it for nearly 20 years, died Nov. 18 at a hospice in Claremore, Okla. We were able to write a check to the Forsyth Medical Center Breast Clinic for $30,500... and have enough seed money left to get started on the next years event. 2011 CINCH CBR Tour Presented by Mahindra Tractors Schedule[Nov. 20, 2010] FORT WORTH, TEXAS (November 19, 2010) – Championship Bull Riding released their schedule today for the 2011 CINCH CBR Tour Presented by Mahindra Tractors and more dates are expected to be added within weeks. The schedule includes return visits to all of the previous year’s most popular stops including the historic George Paul Memorial.
