Sunday afternoon ride - Part 2 of the PBR Team Shootout airs this weekend[Aug. 14, 2008] Ten more teams will look to shoot it out this weekend in Paso Robles, Calif. - The second of five PBR Team Shootout events will air Sunday afternoon on ESPN2 as two more teams try to qualify for the Shootout finals in Pueblo, which will be broadcast early next month. Chihuahua, Mexico Plays Host to the 2008 PBR World Cup!!![Aug. 12, 2008] The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is thrilled to bring their premiere international event, the PBR World Cup, to the Cowboy Capital of Mexico--Chihuahua. Manuel Bernardo Aguirre Gymnasium will play host to the world-class competition on Saturday, August 16 at 6:50 p.m. and on Sunday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. Five countries, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and the United States, will go head to head to find out which country will take home bragging rights as the best bull riding nation in the world. UPDATE - Dodge Championship Bull Riding Missouri State Fair[Aug. 11, 2008] The format for the two day Extreme Bullriding Tour stop at the Missouri State Fair for the last 14 years known as the Dodge Championship Bull Riding has been changed from one-two-day event to two-one-day events. Now it's legit[Aug. 11, 2008] Though he earned $740,000 for winning two Oklahoma bull ridings and became a regular on the PBR’s top-tier tour, there was something missing: a victory on the Ford Series. - But (Clayton) Williams got what he's longed for last weekend by winning a BFTS stop in Glendale, Ariz. Williams was the only rider who stayed on all three bulls, and he pocketed $28,100 after pacing the 45-man field. By Brett Hoffman for PBR
Andy Smith takes home Jerry Nolte Memorial Belt Buckle[Aug. 10, 2008] Andy Smith claimed the Jerry Nolte Memorial Buckle given to the champion of the Johnson County Ag and Mechanical Society Extreme Bullriding Tour in front of a capacity crowd. Andy won the event by covering two bulls for 168 points giving him a paycheck of $922.19. Four riders covered bulls in the long go earning them a trip to the short go and paychecks for the night. Bull rider Clayton Williams finally breaks through[Aug. 7, 2008] The day finally arrived for Clayton Williams. - The young bull rider from Carthage, Texas, won his first Built Ford Tough Series event last weekend in Glendale, Ariz., after having competed on the main tour of the Professional Bull Riders for nearly two years.
