PUEBLO, Colo. (November 5, 2010) - As the entertainer for the PBR’s live events, Flint Rasmussen keeps up with pop culture and shares his own unique views on it.
Apparently it’s a trait he inherited from his mom.
During the World Finals, he was involved in filming a skit for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in which he and Guillermo Rodriguez entertained the live audience together during a break in the action.
“The hilarious thing, my mom was here – 72 years old and she’ll hate that I said that,” Flint recalled, “but after the show she said, ‘That Guillermo is hilarious. I watch him when I fall asleep all the time.’
“I mean, of all the people that I know who would know of Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo, it wouldn’t be my mom.”
That illustrates the sweeping appeal of ABC’s late-night series.
The segment, organized by Ford Trucks as part of their promotional campaign for the launch of the 2011 Ford F-150, features Guillermo’s trip to the World Finals in Las Vegas and his quest to become a bull rider.
Prior to Round 3, Guillermo filmed segments with Travis Briscoe, Super Duty, Shorty Gorham, and miniature bulls. His day concluded on the center stage with Flint.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs Monday through Friday on ABC. Show times vary, so fans are encouraged to check their local listings for times in their area.
