Funeral services for Clint Koenig, age 20, of rural Ewing, will be 10 AM Wednesday, September 1st, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill with burial in the O’Neill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 PM to 9 PM at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with a Rosary at 8 PM. He passed away Saturday morning, August 28th, at the Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln, from the results of a bull riding accident.
He is survived by his parents, Dwaine and Ann Koenig, two brothers, Jason Koenig and his wife Jennifer, and Jeff Koenig, all of rural Ewing.
Grandmother‘s, Lorna Koenig and Loretta Napier both of rural Ewing. Clint was born April 30, 1990 at O’Neill, Nebraska to Dwaine and Ann (Napier) Koenig. He was a rancher on the home ranch at rural Ewing. He graduated from Chambers High School in 2008. He graduated from Northeast Tech College in 2010, with an Associates Degree in Animal Science. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Amelia, the Mid-States Rodeo Association, the NRA, and the North American Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by both Grandfather’s, Leonard Koenig and John Napier, and his uncle David Koenig. Rev. Francis Nigli is officiating.
