The 2009 Bullriders of America (BOA) Finals will be held over the weekend of the 16th & 17th of October in Fort Madison, IA at the Tri-State Rodeo Arena. This is the fifth year the Tri-State Rodeo Arena has hosted the finals. The Midwest Bullfighters Association (MWB) will also be holding their finals in conjunction with the event. The elite of the best competitors from both the BOA and the MWB will set forth competing for over $15,000 in cash and prizes in an all out adrenaline filled action packed weekend that is bound to overload your senses.

Make no mistake there will hardly be a bit of room to even take a breath at the Tri-State Rodeo Arena, and if by chance a moment should arise you can be certain it will be surely stolen away by the wild and crazy, knee slapping antics of Allan Dessel, Hugo, Ok, the 2009 BOA Barrelman of the Finals. With every buck, spin, and jump of the 2009 BOA Finals the brisk fall air will be electrified by the voice of 2009 BOA Announcer of the Finals Troy Goodridge, Fort Scott, KS. Deep within the danger zone amongst the hooves, the dust, and the occasional blood you will find the 2009 Bullfighters of the Finals, Craig Check, WS; Jeremy Muntz, Denton, NE; and Andy Thompson, Auburn, IA providing top-notch, top-drawer cowboy protection. With each and every crack of the gate, Todd Crase, Winterset, IA; Kevin Dessel, Cherokee, IA; and Steve Snow, Hollywood, CA the 2009 BOA Judges of the Finals will be scoring both the bulls and the riders. On a special note, this is a record-setting tenth year that Todd has been selected to be a judge at the BOA Finals.

A major component with any bull riding event is the animal athletes, the Bulls. This year there will be bulls from CC Bucking Bulls, WS; Double S Bull Company, IA; and D-D Rodeo Company, MO.

Throughout the year the BOA shows a tremendous amount of support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Each night of the finals this year there will be a 50/50 drawing with the proceeds going to Susan G.Koman Foundation. Saturday night will be a "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" event with contestants, personnel and fans showing their pink in support of the cause.

Sponsors for the 2009 BOA Finals are, JD Leathers, Bob Berg Buckles, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Henderson Custom Spurs, RodeoAttitude.com and Travelodge Inn & Suites. The Travelodge Inn & Suites in Fort Madison will be the host hotel again this year, see below for further details and room rates

Do not hesitate... Grab a suitcase, duffel bag, grocery sack, or if need be a cardboard box, but get packed and make your plans now to take part in the 2009 Bullriders Of America Finals at the Tri-State Rodeo Arena in Ft Madison, IA.
