Bass Pro Shops host PBR Day on Oct. 16

PUEBLO, Colo. (October 15, 2010) - The Professional Bull Riders announced that on Saturday, Oct. 16, Bass Pro Shops retail stores in the United States will be celebrating PBR Day presented by Bass Pro Shops, Ariat Boots, Lincoln Welders, Enterprise Rent A Car and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

Fifty of Bass Pro Shops locations across America will have a PBR personality signing autographs from 1-2 p.m. PBR Day will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and features fun family-friendly activities, including, but not limited to stick-bull racing, bull roping, face painting, and coloring contests.

The “Built Ford Tough Road to Vegas presented by Cooper Tires” will be broadcast nationwide by CBS following NFL games on Sunday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. ET (Please check local listing). The special features the Top 10 bull riders in the world competing outdoors in Times Square in New York City as well as the announcement of the finalists for 2010 World Champion Bull and a preview of the World Finals where the winner receives the coveted PBR Championship Buckle and a $1 million bonus at the single richest bull riding event in the world.

The 2010 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals begin Wednesday, Oct. 20 and continue through Sunday, Oct. 24 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Bull riding begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets begin at $21 and can be purchased at the Thomas & Mack Center box office, online at www.unlvtickets.com and by telephone at 866-PBR-SHOW.
