Attention Students - The instructors will draw one student from each group and that student will get their class FREE. Must be pre-registered to qualify!
Most young competitors would be thrilled to the opportunity to meet Gary Leffew, Monty "Hawkeye" Henson and Rob Smets. How about getting to spend three days learning from them the ins and outs of the rough stock side of rodeo. June 4th through June 6th the three men will each be instructors in their field of expertise at the Tri-State Rodeo Arena in Fort Madison, Iowa.
Gary Leffew is often called the "Bull Riding Guru" with many of the riders on the famous Professional Bull Riders Tour using his techniques in riding. Gary has not only instructed many great bull riders but he has often served as a consultant and instructor on various Hollywood projects including the classic "8 Seconds". A World Champion in his own right he is a member of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
Monty "Hawkeye" Henson is a 14-time qualifier for the NFR, winning four Average titles on his way to three World Champion Saddle Bronc Riding World Championships. “Hawkeye” was one of the most colorful rodeo competitors in the 70s and 80s. His flamboyant riding style, ending each successful ride with a “flying dismount,” and eagle feather in his hat made him a fan favorite. Mr. Henson is a Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame inductee as well. He has also worked as a rodeo commentator, and entertainer in the movie industry.
Rob Smets earned the name "Kamikaze Kid" in his 28 years as a professional bullfighter. Rob is a five time world champion bullfighterl, six times National Finals Rodeo bullfighteer, nine times Professional Bull Riders World Finals bullfighter and thrilled audiences as a regular on the world famous Professional Bull Riders Built Ford Tough Series telivised world round.
Miles Hare, world champion bullfighter will be joining Rob as an instructor for bullfighting. Miles hare was the first Wrangler World Champion Bullfighter and Co-Champion in 1988 along with Rob Smets. He has also worked the NFR six times, three of which were with Rob as a team.

Deposit $200 Last day for refund April 30th. All refunds will be credit for another school only.
Student may enroll in only in one school.
No equipment will be provided by school student must provide.
There is free campng as well as a free bunk house provided. There are showers and restrooms available as well.
Food is not included but we will have availability.
