
Merkel, Texas - National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has chosen FIVE-TIME WORLD BULL FIGHTING CHAMPION, Rob Smets, to judge it's nationally televised, NBC's "America's Toughest Jobs". Rob has been asked to host two episodes, Friday, September 26th, 8 ET/7 CT & Friday, October 24th 8 ET/7 CT. Rob will be evaluating the remaining contestants giving one THE BOOT at the end of each episode.
Rob, who is better known in the rodeo and bull riding world as “The Kamikaze Kid”, is recognized nationally as a rodeo hero and celebrity. He has been the focus of several national television shows, magazine covers and articles in addition to announcing Professional Bull Riding (PBR) events, Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) rodeos as well as many, many promotional events. His credentials that made him an excellent selection for “America’s Toughest Jobs” include:
· FIVE time World Bull Fighting Champion
· Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame inductee
· Has qualified for the Wrangler Bull Fighting World Championships seventeen times, winning five times, placing second five times, never placing below sixth place
· Voted by the top forty-five Professional Bull Riders to fight bulls at the PBR Finals NINE TIMES
· Performed at SIX PRCA National Finals Rodeos
· Competed in every rodeo event during his career
