Thunder EquiGames and Rob Smets present 2009 Freestyle Bullfighting Championships

• December 4th, 1:00 PM: Six head-to-head matches (12 fighters total). Six bullfighters will advance to compete in the Thunder EquiGames Finale the following weekend, December 12th. You will only need to beat one other bullfighter to advance to the Finale.
• December 12th, 1:00 PM: Thunder EquiGames Finale head-to-head matches (6 fights). Three fighters who win their matches will advance to the finals at the end of the two-hour event (finalists will fight two 70 second matches). The three fighters remaining will have one final round to determine who wins the three payoff checks.

Note: Contestant list posted September 30th. Rob Smets will join the other judges to divide the 12 into two pools, top and bottom, (strictly based on their opinion). After the pools are divided, matches will be determined by a draw. Draws for these matches will be posted on Thursday afternoon December 3rd. 

• The 12 selected fighters will receive $1,000 each
• Winners advancing to the Finale will each receive another $1,250 round payment and one room hotel
  accommodations for two nights at the South Point, December 11th and 12th.
