The Dakotah Fevold Benefit Bull Riding will be held on November 15th at 7 PM at the Fort Dodge Fairgrounds, Fort Dodge, IA. The purpose of the benefit is to assist Dakotah’s family, parents, Will and Heather, sister, Micaela, and brother, Lane, in their time of need. Dakotah Marie Fevold, 3, passed away Monday, October 6th, at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge as the result of a tragic accident at her home. Will has worked within the rodeo industry in the Midwest for several years as a bullfighter.

The benefit will be an indoor bullriding with $500 added money. Organizers plan on having 10 junior riders and will accept up to 75 riders all together. Contestants can call-in on Monday, November 10th from 5 PM – 10 PM Justin Prom, 515-556-6766. Entry fees are set at $75.00. Junior bull riding is already full. All services for the bullriding are being donated by those involved. The contractors who are assisting with this benefit are T & C Rodeo Company, Talton Toney; Circle C Rodeo Company, Marlin Clock; Heartland Rodeo Company, Clara Cantz; and Cripple Creek Bucking Bulls, Jerry and Bob Grady. Junior bulls will be provided by Tuff-N-Nuff Rodeo Company, Johnny, Peggy & Levi Hopkins. Jason "Tex" Hetland and Mike Connell will be serving as co-announcers. They will be joined in the arena by funnyman, Matt Zabel and bullfighters, Justin Prom, John Prom, Caleb Cox and Will Fevold. Providing the all important judging will be Todd Crase, Ed Kennedy and Ed Waldhauser. Serving as the secretary for the event will be Wendee Prom.

A dance will follow the bullriding and a beer garden will be provided by the fairgrounds. Admission is only $5.00 and children 6 and under is free. This should be an outstanding event for fans as well as helping a wonderful young family.
