The riders were tough but the bulls were tougher!  That was the story at the Annual Johnson County Agricultural & Mechanical Association Bullriding in Tecumseh, NE.  Two men rode both their bulls while only one other man was able to cover his long-go bull.  Kolt Donnelson not only rode his bull in both the long-go and the short-go but thrilled the crowd with a 91-point ride in the short-go!  Kolt finished the event with 176 points to win $1543.50 and the 5th Annual Jerry Nolte Memorial Buckle.  The gorgeous Bob Berg Buckle was presented by White Buffalo Productions owned by Todd Crase and Ryan Skillett in honor of the late Jerry Nolte of Tecumseh.  Jason Branham also rode both of his bulls but finished in second with as score of 165.
One of the highlights of the night was when funnyman, Lance McLlvain, who is also a champion bullfighter, gave an exposition of freestyle bullfighting that thrilled the crowd and left the crowd on the edge of their seats.

The outstanding bull selected as the Bull of the Event was Buck Cherry who put Dusty Green to the ground in the short-go.  This was the second event in a row that Dusty has drawn Buck Cherry in the short-go and the second time Buck Cherry has bucked him off before the whistle.  I am sure Dusty is looking for a re-match!
