For the last decade with the coming of spring has also come the Tuff – N- Nuff Rodeo in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Ten years ago Johnny and Peggy Hopkins produced the first Tuff-N-Nuff Rodeo. Their goal in producing this rodeo was the same as it is today, to promote and preserve rodeo in the Fort Dodge area. The Johnny and Peggy along with their son, Levi, have added two days of free style bullfighting to an already outstanding program.

Action will begin on Friday night, April 20th at 7:30 PM with a full rodeo sanctioned by the Interstate Rodeo Association. The Midwest Bullfighters Association will also produce the first round of their two nights of free style bullfighting at its best. There will be a 1 PM final round to the full rodeo on Saturday afternoon. Both the Friday and Saturday afternoon sessions will include special children activities. On Saturday night once again the action will start at 7:30 PM but will be strictly bull riding and bullfighting. The bull riding will be sanctioned by the National Federation of Professional Bullriders insuring some of the top riders in the Midwest. The second round of the freestyle bullfighting will add that little bit of extra spice and excitement to the performance.

All performances will include the talents of award winning announcer, Chris Pyle, and the humor of funnyman, Shawn “Boom Boom” Thompson. Chris and Shawn were honored by the NFPB as the top announcer and funnyman of the 2006 season.
Stock contractor will be Grand River Rodeo Co.

The fun doesn’t end with the bull riding. Following the nights competition their will be a Barn Dance with DJ Cotton Creek. The Barn Dance is another yearly tradition but every effort has been made to make this one bigger and better than before.

There will be a special autograph session Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at Shoppers Supply featuring Shawn “Boom Boom” Thompson and the bullfighters of the Midwest Bullfighters Association.

Rodeo Attitude has not only selected this as a featured event but LoriDee will be on hand to enjoy the festivities and greet all the fans. See ya there!
