[Sep. 8, 2009] WALLA WALLA - The two top-ranked bareback riders in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association standings squared off Sunday night during the final performance of the 2009 Frontier Days Rodeo at the Walla Walla Fairgrounds.
 
Stump earns national rodeo attention
[Sep. 5, 2009] CROOK — Quinten Stump is a young man who is building up an impressive resume in the rodeo world.

His marks are impressive enough to allow him to complete in the National Little Britches Finals Rodeo in Pueblo. His scores at this rodeo, that occurred July 27 through Aug. 1, ranked him No. 2 in the world.

Buckles and more than $60,000 in prize money was given to 18 champions.

For Lovell High School senior JR Vezain, winning the three-day final bareback title capped a busy summer.
