[Dec. 12, 2010] LAS VEGAS – Trevor Brazile smiled from ear to ear, pumped his fist to the crowd and walked out of the Thomas & Mack Center arena with his second Triple Crown in four years. The Decatur, Texas, cowboy won the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo tie-down roping average and finished second with partner Patrick Smith in the team roping average to secure world titles in both events to go along with his record eighth all-around crown, which he clinched in Round 2. Brazile breaks PRCA single-season earnings record, Harris clinches third consecutive world title in Round 9 of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo
[Dec. 11, 2010] LAS VEGAS – The records just keep coming and coming for 12-time World Champion Trevor Brazile.

With second-place finishes in the team roping and tie-down roping during Round 9 of the 52nd Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, the Decatur, Texas, cowboy broke his own single-season earnings record and made the first $500,000 season in ProRodeo a distinct possibility. Brazile earned $27,680 in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,796 at the Thomas & Mack Center to push his season total to $426,574, besting his previous record mark of $425,115 from his Triple Crown season of 2007. Ohl wins fourth round of 2010 Wrangler NFR, 40th round overall in Las Vegas
[Dec. 10, 2010] LAS VEGAS – Few cowboys have owned the Thomas & Mack Center like Cody Ohl, and the tie-down roper’s dominance continued in Round 8 of the 52nd Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

Ohl, of Hico, Texas, won his fourth round in five nights and 40th of his career at the Wrangler NFR in Round 8 after stopping the clock in 7.2 seconds. That time was two-tenths of a second faster than Shane Hanchey’s run and came a night after Ohl had a no-time. By Courtesy PRCA
 
Harris, Branquinho take over top spots in world standings after Round 7 win at 52nd Wrangler National Finals Rodeo
[Dec. 9, 2010] LAS VEGAS – Fellow bull riders and steer wrestlers beware: two-time World Champions J.W. Harris and Luke Branquinho are red hot.

Harris, of Mullin, Texas, won the bull riding for the third straight night at the 2010 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo and for the fourth time in seven rounds, and Branquinho won for the third time – and second in a row – in front of 17,132 at the Thomas & Mack Center. Dent takes over PRCA World Standings lead after Round 3 victory at Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Inbox X
[Dec. 5, 2010] LAS VEGAS – Bareback rider Steven Dent took the wish of his injured traveling partner and friend Ryan Gray to heart in Round 3 of the $5.875 million Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Saturday night. Reminiscent of a scene from the 1940 movie “Knute Rockne All American,” Gray – the previous PRCA World Standings leader who is out for the rest of the Finals with a lacerated liver suffered in Round 2 – gave Dent a simple request when the two talked while Gray lay in a hospital bed. [Dec. 4, 2010] LAS VEGAS – At long last, Trevor Brazile stands alone.

The Decatur, Texas, cowboy finished second in the team roping and sixth in the tie-down roping in Round 2 of the 52nd Wrangler National Finals Rodeo to clinch a record eighth all-around world championship. Brazile earned $16,665 in the two events in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,197 to pass ProRodeo Hall of Famer Ty Murray and become the first cowboy in rodeo history to win eight all-around gold buckles. Quartet of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo rookies lead Round 1 winners
[Dec. 3, 2010] LAS VEGAS – Rookie Night at the 2010 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is slated for Dec. 7, but Round 1 was the night for Wrangler NFR rookies at the Thomas & Mack Center. Wrangler NFR first-timers Joe Gunderson (bareback riding), Billy Bugenig (steer wrestling), Colby Lovell (team roping – heading) and Clif Cooper (tie-down roping) all took home checks for $17,512 after winning the opening round of the 52nd installment of the “Super Bowl of Rodeo” in front of a sold-out crowd of 17,021.
