14th Annual Missouri State Fair Bullriding Thrills Fairgoers[Aug. 25, 2009] The Fourteenth Annual Missouri State Fair Bullriding was held on Friday, August 20th and 21st as a part of the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, MO. The Extreme Bullriding Tour brought with them the top riders of the Bullriders Of America (BOA) and the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) along with the rank bulls of the Double S Bull Company's "Attack Pack" and the Walkowe and Jackson Bucking Bulls. The Extreme "caravan" visits Deshler, NE on its Five Day-Four Stops Journey![Aug. 8, 2009] he Extreme Bullriding Tour made its first visit to the Thayer County Fair on August 7. The fair which is located in Deshler, NE was the third stop for the tour during one of the busiest weeks of the tour. Many of the riders have been following along with the tour for the four stops in five days adding to the excitement at each stop as they reveal in the competition as well as the fellowship between riders and fans. Standing Room Only Crowd Greets Bullriders in Atlantic [Aug. 7, 2009] The Extreme Bullriding Tour stop in Atlantic, Iowa, has a reputation - a very good reputation. With a capacity of close to 5000 the stands are traditionally full so it was no wonder that at 4:30 PM, three hours before the event started, there were already 200 people in the stands. By starting time it was hard to find even a place to stand! The bullriders of the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB) and the Bullriders of America (BOA), the two sanctioning bodies of the event, felt the electricity in the crowd and gave them their best. Cannon Falls Fourth of July Bullriding Rocks[Jul. 6, 2009] Cannon Valley Fair in Cannon Falls, Minnesota celebrated its 6th Annual Extreme Bullriding Tour stop with as many "fireworks" in the arena as in the sky! Despite the off and on rains throughout the day the sky cleared for the bull riding action. The crowd really got its moneys worth in the Rodeo Attitude Short Go when the top bulls of the Double S Bull Company, owned by Shad and Vicki Smith of Sidney, IA, did their best to buck off the top 6 riders of the night. Scotia Homecoming Marks 10 Years of Extreme Bull Riding Success...[Jun. 22, 2009] For the 10th year the Extreme Bullriding Tour made its annual stop in Scotia, NE as a part of their annual celebration Scotia Homecoming. In Memory of Thad Ita[Jun. 2, 2009] Rodeo judge, Thad Ita, his wife, Tricia, and son, Jacob, were killed as the result of a head on car. The accident occurred approximately 1 PM, Saturday, May 30th on Route 2, 2 miles east of Broken Bow, NE. Tricia and Jacob were pronounced dead at the scene. Thad and his daughter, Martina, were life flighted to Good Samaritain Hospital, Kearney, NE. Thad passed away at approximately 2 AM Sunday morning.
