The season Todd Crase, Production Manager for the Extreme Bullriding Tour and Abby McDonald, Miss Extreme have joined forces to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Their goal is to raise $5000 this season to donate to the fight against breast cancer and pleased to announce the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink Challenge”!
Abby will be selling 50/50 tickets at each event and during that event. At the end of the event, one ticket will be pulled from the tickets sold and that person will receive half the pot of money Abby raised during that event and the other half the money she raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In addition to the 50/50 money, Abby has been given a leather jacket by Corral West with the PBR logo on the back. This jacket will be taken to many PBR events this year and we will have as many PBR riders sign the jacket as possible. In addition, we will also have an Extreme Jacket that each of our tour stop champions sign and at the end of this year’s season, both jackets will be given away to one lucky winner! Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each at all events and as stated earlier, the winner will be drawn during the Madison, NE event on New Year’s Eve! All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation as well. We hope that this is a huge success and we raise a lot of money for a good cause!
Abby has also teamed up with Corral West to do something special for all the riders who participate in the Extreme events this season. Without the riders, none of this would be possible so at each tour stop this year, a bull will be selected as the Pink Ribbon Bull. If the rider that selects that bull covers the 8 second ride, they will receive a special prize from Corral West to be awarded by Abby after that ride! If the bullrider doesn’t cover their 8 second ride, that prize will be awarded to the winner of the 50/50 drawing at the end of the days’ event! However, there is one catch. The rider selected must be wearing a Tough Enough to Wear Pink shirt, hat or wearing a Pink Ribbon somewhere on their vest. If no pink ribbon or clothing item is worn, the prize again will go to the 50/50 winner!
Corral West has also be kind enough to offer us a special deal! Anyone wanting a Tough Enough to Wear Pink shirt or hat can purchase them directly by calling Corral West and providing their payment information or mailing a check to Jennifer McDonald at the contact info below also with their shirt size. As another thank you from Corral West, each rider, bull fighter and all staff who attends one of the events in June will be given a card that can be used during the entire month of July at the Grand Island, NE location only! This card entitles that person to 10% off their entire purchase except for Ridge Rider brand jeans or clearance jeans. We really want to extend a HUGE thanks to Corral West for offering this deal to us and helping Abby as well! We couldn’t have done this without them!
