Nashville, TN (November 17, 2009) -- Country rocker Susan Hickman is on the road promoting her new single, "Whipping Post," at 23 stations over three days; covering a thousand miles across Texas and New Mexico. "I am so pumped," says the petite blonde. "I'm trying to get in as many visits as I can! It will be great to meet the guys and gals who are playing my record."
DAY #1 (TODAY): KVET (Austin); KNAF/KFAN (Fredericksburg); KDCD and KKCN (San Angelo); KBST (Big Springs); KHKX and KNFM (Midland).
DAY #2 (WED): KIXN (Hobbs, NM); KSEL (Portales, NM); KPAN (Hereford); KATD and KACV (Amarillo) and KFLP (Floydada).
DAY #3 (THURS): KQBR; KJDL and KLLL (Lubbock); KSNY (Snyder); KXOX (Sweetwater); KEAN and KBCY (Abilene): KRUN (Ballinger) and KXOE (Brownwood).
Her schedule is hectic, but Susan laughs off the notion of any hardship. "Are you kidding?" she asks. "I'll be taking pictures and blogging about every stop along the way."
For Hickman, the February '09 regional release of her debut country CD, SUSAN HICKMAN, marked the beginning of a journey down a road she's dreamed of for years. Her current single, "Whipping Post," is generating positive reviews, and Susan's booked through year's end. Hickman will stream her November 28 Rowdy Buck's show LIVE on her website, and will be featured in Texas Hot Country and That Nashville Sound in December.
