On the brink of being featured in the multi-million circulation national American Profile magazine, Royal Wade Kimes wowed ranch hands, horse trainers and cattlemen at the famous Silver Dollar Bar & Grill in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The award-winning singer/songwriter—with a well-established reputation as king of the gun-fighting ballads and hard-riding outlaw tunes—packed the bar inside the Wort Hotel last week with locals and tourists from all over the globe, including Israel.
“I loved performing in Jackson Hole. The audience was loaded with downright good people, my kind of people, and we had a great time!” declared Royal Wade, who’s been called the 21st century Marty Robbins.
He’s performed his unique brand of “cowboy country” music in front of hundreds of thousands of fans in 30 states at fairs, festivals, rodeos, conventions, night clubs, theaters and special venues, including NASCAR events, the historic Grand Ole Opry and Disney World. He’s also recorded nine albums and released numerous hit singles.
Mason Tibbs, nephew of the great rodeo champion Casey Tibbs, who promoted Royal Wade’s Silver Dollar Bar & Grill performance, noted that he brought him in as his grand finale show for the year. After the SRO show, it was clear that Royal Wade rode in “just in time.”
Royal Wade will be featured in the issue of American Profile magazine distributed in newspapers throughout the nation Sept. 3-8. The compelling story, highlighted with outstanding photos, will take readers inside the day-to-day life of this real-life cowboy and much-sought-after musical performer.
Not only will people be reading about Royal Wade in September, they’ll be flocking to his highly-successful Mount Royal Trail Ride & Concert that he founded in his native Arkansas. Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the three-day event is Sept. 17-19, in Chester, Arkansas. In previous years, trail ride participants from 22 states have ridden their horses high into the mountains of Arkansas and enjoyed chuck wagon meals. On Sept. 18 there will be a multi-artist concert that is open to the public and features Royal Wade as the headliner. The concert raises funds to feed children in Arkansas and Oklahoma through the Back Packs for Children program.
