Nashville’s American storyteller, known to tell and paint stories with his songs, has taken his writing to another level. Royal Wade Kimes has signed a deal with ‘Books In Motion’, a national distributor of audio media and a pioneer in the audio book industry. Since 1980 they have gained a reputation for high-quality productions, unabridged and produces in three audio formats; MP3, CD and downloadable.
Kimes’ novel is titled ‘A Braver Man’, a western set in the late 1800’s. Royal Wade Kimes is known around the world as the number one western writer and singer so it makes sense he would write about the west, its ruggedness, the charm and mystic. He brings the west alive with ‘A Braver Man’ and once again preserves the west and its hero, the cowboy. ‘A Braver Man’ is about a young cowboy who knows how to use a gun, is Bible learned and unafraid. He takes on a tyrant who runs the town, the people in it and the country surrounding it.
Lynn Pisar of ‘Books In Motion’ said, “the novel is scheduled to be released in early 2010 and will be submitted for a ‘Spur Award’ presented by the Western Writers of America in 2011. ‘Books In Motion’ is known for their talented professional readers, a narrator for ‘A Braver Man’ has not been selected at this time.”
