"Hey baby can you hear me, damn this old cell phone
I called to say I'm sorry, before you get too far down the road
I just wanted you to know
I'm just hearin' every other word
You don't ever want to, is the last thing that I heard" (Smith/Varble)

Nashville, TN (October 29, 2009) - These days we all spend a lot of time connecting with our friends and lovers via cell phones and PDAs. Unfortunately, these modern devices have been the downfall of many relationships, and Richie Fields' new international single, "Losing You," puts it all into perspective with a clever new twist. The track reaches radio programmers' desks on November 1.

"Losing You" was written by Music City hitmakers Gerald Smith (Collin Raye, Lorrie Morgan) and Nashville Songwriters Association International Songwriter of the Year 2009, Wynn Varble (Brad Paisley, Darryl Worley). It is the perfect showcase for Richie's rich and emotive baritone. Music Row's Robert K. Oermann describes the single as: "A moody power ballad (that) features cool dips into his lower register and an oomphy, melodic chorus hook."

The well-paced track features the standout musicianship we've come to expect from Nashville's finest: Spady Brannan (bass); Michael Spriggs (acoustic guitars); Michael Durham (electric guitars); Charlie Judge (keyboards); Rusty Danmyer (steel guitar) and Shawn Fichter (drums and percussion), while Brit Savage and Ray Barnette sit in on back ground vocals.

Richie has enjoyed significant international chart success with his previous singles, "Devil In The Mirror" and "When You Love Someone That Much." Viewers of the small screen can catch Richie's debut video, "Man Enough To Cry" on RURAL TV Sky Channel 279's "Hot Country" show. The video was a # 1 "Viewers' Choice" on Y'allwire.com earlier this year.

FANS can catch up with Richie online @ www.richiefields.com, www.myspace.com/richiefields, as well as Facebook and Digital Rodeo.
