Nashville, TN (June 8, 2010)-Servant Records/Gaither Music Group recording artist Guy Penrod is slated to make multiple appearances at the 2010 CMA Music Fest being held this week. Penrod will perform at the popular "Sunday Mornin' Country" event at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theater on June 13 at 2:30 p.m. This year's "Sunday Mornin' Country," which includes a tribute to legendary "Hee Haw" personality and recording artist Roy Clark, will also feature performances from Louise Mandrell, Gary Morris, Jason Crabb, Point of Grace, and Buddy Jewell, among many others.

Helping welcome fans to CMA Music Fest on Wednesday, June 9, Penrod will appear at the Music City Visitors Information Center inside the Bridgestone Arena from 11a.m. -12noon. He will entertain the fans with performances from his first solo country CD, BREATHE DEEP.

On Friday, June 11, Penrod will be a guest on FOX 17's "Tennessee Mornings" during the show's special broadcast from the Hard Rock Café.

Additionally, Penrod's CMA Music Fest schedule includes a signing in the 650 AM WSM Radio Booth #316 at the Nashville Convention Center Exhibit Hall on Saturday, June 12, from 12noon -1 p.m. From 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., he will perform on the 650 AM WSM/Durango Boots "Acoustic Corner Stage" located on the second floor of the Convention Center. Fans can listen to Penrod's performance live on 650 AM WSM Radio or via a live stream at www.wsmonline.com .

Produced by Brent Rowan (Joe Nichols, Blake Shelton), BREATHE DEEP debuted at #2 on Nielsen SoundScan's Christian/Gospel-Christian retail chart earlier this year and features 13 selections focusing on Penrod's passions: faith and family. His country radio single, "Are You The One," is now receiving airplay on over 100 stations nationwide and is #57 on Billboard's Country Indicator chart.

During his 14 years with the GRAMMY® and Dove Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band, Penrod performed before more than 5 million people on Bill & Gloria Gaither's Homecoming Tours and was featured on Gaither television specials airing on multiple networks. The Gaither Vocal Band sold more than 1 million CDs and DVDs while Penrod was a member. Prior to joining the Vocal Band, Penrod was a highly sought-after studio singer in Nashville and appeared for three years on TNN's popular "Music City Tonight" as a vocalist in the house band.
