MATT GARY TEES UP WITH PING APPAREL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 12, 2010)–Country newcomer Matt Gary is pleased to announce his relationship with CBS Custom Branded Sports Wear aka PING Apparel. The Kansas City based sportswear company has aligned with Gary in an innovative marketing campaign to elevate and expand product awareness from the putting green to the entertainment arena with concentration in the country music scene. PING Apparel will become an off-road casual clothing standard for Gary as he hits the road this summer on a radio promotion tour in support of his new single “I’m Just Sayin’” and anticipated summer 2010 album release.

 


“I have two passions in life, golf and music. The opportunity to work with PING Apparel as the first country music artist to ‘sport the duds’ as an aficionado is pretty special.” Matt Gary explained. “This partnership has already opened the door to opportunities that might not have otherwise been presented. I look forward to hitting the road and the links with PING Apparel.”

Matt Gary in partnership with PING Apparel sponsored (in part) the Charlie Daniels Angelus in December 2009 and will be an active participant donating men’s and women’s shirts and headwear to the golf teams at the Vinny in Music City next weekend.

Named "Who New To Watch" by CMA Close-up Magazine in 2009, Matt Gary released his debut single entitled

“The Days You Live For" and corresponding music video in April 2009 from his own independent label, 17 Music Entertainment. In the past year, Matt has graced the pages of Country Weekly's "Listen Up!" and "Who's New." Matt is set to release his self-itled album (produced by Frank Myers) later this summer and delivers his follow-up single, “I’m Just Sayin’,” to radio in June.
