
BILOXI, MS – Country-rocker Bo Bice lends his voice to ‘The Gulf Is Back’, a emotionally-charged one-hour special airing this Friday, August 27 at 8am ET/PT on the CW Network. The special, hosted by David Hasselhoff, focuses on the resiliency of the residents of the Gulf Coast region and how they are bouncing back from the worst oil spill in the nation's history. It was filmed during two days of free concerts at Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. Bo performs "Long Road Back" and the current single "You Take Yourself With You" off his latest album, '3'. Other music performances feature such artists as Lonestar, Ricky Skaggs, Terri Clark, Taylor Hicks, Ace Young, Kyle and Chris Massey, Brian McKnight and Drake Bell. Additional celebrity guest appearances include Dean Cain and Shannon Elizabeth.

‘The Gulf Is Back’ pays tribute to the people of Mississippi and the entire Gulf region,featuring real-life stories of the heroic actions taken by everyday people. Celebrities from the Gulf coast region relate their own accounts of why they love the Gulf.
This program is a tribute to the people of the Gulf Coast and a celebration of their indomitable spirit. It's an uplifting and inspiring television event to salute the citizens of the Gulf who have worked tirelessly to restore their communities and return their lives to normal.

About Bo Bice
