Uplifting Lyrics Offer Hope In Gloomy Economic Times

"Everything is Gonna Be Alright' is a battle cry for today's economy. It is delivered with sense of hope and passion in a style that is unique in today's country music. His lyrics blend with his strong background in folk and country to produce a memorable song that will make your phones ring...makes me want to hear a lot more from Mark!" - Jason Drake, KAIR Radio

Nashville, TN (October 27, 2009)--Traceway Records' Mark Wayne Glasmire offers a "musical cure" with his international single debut, "Everything Is Gonna Be Alright," on November 1. The singer/songwriter's crisp tenor offers hope and reassurance to those affected worldwide by gloomy economic times. "I think everyone is feelin' the pinch right now," says the Texas-based performer. Mark co-produced "Everything Is Gonna Be Alright" with John Albani (Steve Azar, Monty Holmes, Randy Boudreaux).

Glasmire's voice is reminiscent of an early John Denver or a modern-day Collin Raye, but it is distinct and different - and immediately identifiable. His talents have led to significant success stateside, including three nods in the First-Round 52nd Annual Grammy Awards Nominating Ballot(2009)for BEST NEW ARTIST, SONG OF THE YEAR ("Everything Is Gonna Be Alright") and AMERICANA ALBUM OF THE YEAR (LIFE GOES ON).

Since 2006, Mark has entered and won numerous songwriting competitions, including: First Place Honors in: B. W. Stevenson Memorial Songwriting Competition (Dallas, TX), Dallas Songwriters Association Int'l Songwriting Competition (Dallas, TX) and GINA/LAWIM Songwriting Competition (Los Angeles, CA).

FANS can purchase "Everything Is Gonna Be Alright "and all of Mark's CDs at CDBaby, Amazon, iTunes and www.markwayneglasmire.com.

RADIO PROGRAMMERS who do not receive HotDisc's Rush Released Compilation can now download the track directly from www.hotdisc.net OR www.airplaydirect.com/markwayneglasmire For interviews, email somuchmoore@charter.net.
