Nashville, TN - While preparing for the release of their debut single on Stroudavarious Records in early 2010, LoCash Cowboys are rewarding their loyal fan base with an early taste of their new music with the limited release of the This Is How We Do It EP. Available only at the band’s live shows and through leading digital music retailers, the EP contains three songs from the band’s forthcoming This Is How We Do It album. Produced by acclaimed songwriter and musician Jeffrey Steele and the band, the EP features “You Got Me”, “Fresh Off The Farm” and “Right Here In Front Of You”. Each track delivers the unique brand of imaginative and dynamic country LoCash Cowboys has refined through their 200+ high-energy live dates per year. “We’ve been playing a bunch of the new songs at shows over the last year,” says co-frontman Chris Lucas. “Fans at the shows and on our website have been asking for a while when they could get the new music and we decided they’d waited long enough. We love the stuff we’ve done with Jeffrey and thought this would be a good way to get a taste of the new music to the people who have been supporting us for years.” Comprised of Lucas and his musical brother, Preston Brust, LoCash have crisscrossed the nation, playing everything from honky-tonks and roadside saloons to country festivals and fairs. With the opportunity to reach such a diverse audience, the boys have indoctrinated the nation to the concept and the attitude that defines the band. “LoCash is a way of life,” says Brust. “It doesn’t mean you are poor or have no money. It just means that some of the best things in life are free – or LoCash. It’s remembering who you are and where you came from.” Look for the full This Is How We Do It album to be released early next spring.
