Finalists J.C. Andersen, Tyler Barham, Angela Engelman, Megan Conner, One Night Rodeo and Lane Turner were chosen out of thousands of independent country artists around the U.S.
Country Music Star John Rich Pens Pro-McCain Song[Jul. 31, 2008] According to the Associated Press, Rich—who makes up half of the Nashville duo Big and Rich—plans to debut his newest song with the Arizona senator on hand at the Country First concert in Panama City, Fla., on Monday.

The Next GAC Star is currently underway, and it's grand finale will air Sept. 10 on GAC.
