Los Angeles, CA --- This week Homer Joy's single, "John Law," was #1 on the Independent Music Network's Country Chart --- for the sixth time. And that is a first for the Independent Music Network.
According to IMN's CEO, Gary Hendrix: "Homer Joy made history when 'John Law' went to #1 again. IMN has never had a single be at #1 six times. Congratulations to Homer Joy who knows what good music is all about and who has been delivering good music all his life. I know there is much more to come, too, and we look forward to having it on the Independent Music Network."
In the meantime, Homer is still unpacking from his move to Bakersfield, California, where he wrote the famous song, "The Streets of Bakersfield" over 30 years ago. He is also busy putting together his new band and planning future concert appearances.
More singles will be released in 2008 from Joy's CD Someday It'll Be Country. Meanwhile, "John Law" is zooming on the airwaves across America.
