NASHVILLE, TN (June 29, 2010) - Cotton Valley Music, LLC, comprising of Cotton Valley Records (CVR) and Cotton Valley Management, has officially opened on Nashville’s famed Music Row. Cotton Valley Music, LLC is driven by veteran Nashville producers J. Gary Smith and John Smith and has set its sights on finding new and innovative ways to utilize technology to market its artists which currently include Mark Cooke and Curb Records recording artist Steve Holy.

“Technology has drastically changed the climate of the industry and the playing field has leveled
dramatically,” states John Smith of Cotton Valley Music. “Independents are jockeying for position and we are fully prepared and engaged in this race to develop the new business model.”

J. Gary Smith and John Smith, president and vice president of CVM respectively, are partners with Kevin Russell and Sara Greenville who spearhead the Longview, TX office of Cotton Valley Entertainment.
