NASHVILLE, Tenn. About Aaron Watson:
Having ten albums now under his belt, most recently his live CD/DVD Deep In The Heart Of Texas: Aaron Watson LIVE, the 31 year old Watson is constantly hard at work writing, recording and producing the true country music that his ever expanding fan base craves. The long and challenging road of his career has led him to his next single, appropriately titled, “The Road.”

Watson states, “I write a lot of my own songs, but from the first time I heard “The Road,” I knew I wanted to cut it. It’s just a great song that grabs you from the first line and doesn’t let you go through the entire song. I also really liked the message of the song…don’t blame the road of life, you’re in control of your own destiny for the choices that you make and the road just provides the pavement.”

The road is leading Watson to new and exciting places in his already successful career. He continues to produce some of the best country music to ever come out of Texas and will prove it yet again with his forthcoming studio album. Aaron has been compared to the likes of Chris LeDoux, Garth Brooks and George Strait. Todd Sterling at Walmart.com says “Watson’s voice is a mixture of (Gary) Allan’s grit and (George) Strait’s cowboy coolness, which makes for a great combination” In the last year Aaron has moved from playing local Texas honky-tonk’s to headlining Texas amphitheaters, as well as touring nationally as far west as California and as far north as Chicago with many stops in between. He’s performed at such marquee events as National Finals Rodeo, Greeley Stampede, and the Minnesota State Fair just to name a few. Recently he signed a national endorsement deal with Tony Lama boots, the “Cadillac of cowboy boots,” joining Brad Paisley as the only other act that the brand represents on their roster. His new combo CD/DVD project marked his 3rd consecutive appearance on the Billboard Country Charts. All of this continues to pave Watson’s country music road that is leading him straight out of Texas and into the hearts of country music listeners everywhere.
