Comstock or Bust will be the name of a Festival and a corresponding website comstockorbust.com for a three day event August 20, 21 &22. The Festival will be held on the Original site of the well known festivals held at Comstock Nebraska. Bill Kann of LaFayette, Tennessee the sole owner of Up the Creek Inc has agreed in principal to lease properties and equipment from Jim Trotter of Arcadia Nebraska. Jim had Purchased the land in recent years for the sole purpose of keeping things together so some one could step up and keep an entertainment venue that meant so much to midwest customers and the economics of Central Nebraska. Jim Quotes "Every thing Don’t have to happen in Big town Nebraska, We prove that every year during labor day at Arcadia Nebraska. We just want to see concerts going at Comstock Nebraska. I haven't missed one yet"

Bill Kann first has come to know of Comstock in June of 2004 when he drove the bus that brought Chris LeDoux to Comstock. Bill quotes " Chris loved Comstock, the fact that everyone was treated the same, no VIP seats, the rodeo, the windmills , the wide open Area" Le Doux asked to come back to the next years festival and was re-booked. Unfortunately he died in March the exact day that 5000 posters were delivered for advertising the 2005 event.

Bill Kann quotes " I loved Comstock too, I’ve been a lot of places the last 40 years in the entertainment industry and there is no place like Comstock. My Personal friends Peter Frampton, my next door neighbors the Oakridge Boys, Ted Nugent all speak very highly of Comstock. Last week I was out with Ted Nugent and He said he’ll be back to Comstock any time I ask" Bill says "I always wanted to be in the festival business and here’s my chance. I hope to recapture the loyalty of past customers. I am going to give it a try"

Sole Owner of Up the Creek Inc Bill brings many years of experience and Connections. Bill has converted and driven buses for countless Nashville celebrities. Bert Padell of New York will handle all accounting and entertainment legalities. Bert’s claim to fame is that He was one of the originators of Woodstock "Comstock reminds me of Woodstock. We rubbed pennies together to get it going". " From what I seen and hear I am 100% behind Bill Kann’s venture in Comstock." Bert has represented hundreds of hundreds of clients including Madonna and Britney Spears.
