Nashville, TN - Feb. 16, 2010 – Grammy award winning trio Lady Antebellum will make their debut on The Oprah Winfrey Show LIVE on Friday, February 19. The Capitol Records Nashville trio will be part of this week's "Oprah Fridays Live” show, where the iconic talk show host talks about the latest news and headlines. Lady Antebellum will perform a medley of their award winning, record setting, #1 hits “I Run To You” and “Need You Now.” (Check local listings for time and channel.)

The Country Music Association’s 2009 “Vocal Group Of The Year” recently celebrated the longest chart-topper of 2009 with the lead and title track “Need You Now” off their new release, which spent five consecutive weeks at No. one and was also certified PLATINUM. Lady Antebellum performed smash #1 single on the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in January and immediately following the performance it shot straight to #1 on the all-genre iTunes chart where it remained for over a week. It is still currently in the top 5 on the all genre iTunes chart.

“I Run To You” was the group’s first #1 single and was the song behind their first Grammy win for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals” as well as the CMA “Single of the Year” in 2009.

Lady Antebellum’s sophomore album NEED YOU NOW scored the No. one position on the Billboard Top 200 chart for two consecutive weeks with sales soaring over 689,000 units. They are the first country group to hold a multi-week No. one since the Dixie Chicks in 2006. The trio joins an elite group of only six all-genre artists who have held on to the top spot for multiple weeks in the past 12 months that includes Jay-Z, Susan Boyle and Eminem.

“American Honey,” the trio’s current single is at #12 on both the Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts.
