JACK INGRAM SMASHES
GUINNESS WORLD RECORD
WITH 215 INTERVIEWS
IN 24 HOURS

INGRAM'S BIG DREAMS & HIGH HOPES

IN STORES NOW

NASHVILLE, TN - Aug. 26, 2009 - Country music's marathon man Jack Ingram dove headfirst into the release day of his new album BIG DREAMS & HIGH HOPES by setting the Guinness World Record this morning for "Most Consecutive Radio Interviews In A 24 Hour Period." Ingram notched 215 interviews across most of the 50 states and parts of Canada, Ireland and Australia, easily shattering the previous record of 96 interviews.

Ingram began interviews in New York City yesterday morning at 8:00am at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge with the Manhattan skyline behind him as BIG DREAMS & HIGH HOPES hit store shelves. He continued through the night and wrapped up this morning with a performance of the album's lead and current Top 10 single "Barefoot and Crazy" on the national morning show Fox & Friends. CMT.com exclusively streamed the event, and recorded a record number of viewers in what is also the longest continuous stream the site has ever attempted.

"Guinness World Records has been chronicling records for more than 50 years and today is no different," said Laura Plunkett, Guiness World Record Adjudicator. "We are pleased to announce that Jack Ingram has broken the record for the 'most radio interviews in 24 hours' at a staggering 215 interviews!"

"After the last 24 hours, I officially have nothing left to say," concluded Ingram.

Ingram will continue the momentum by jetting straight to his home state of Texas to play Dallas tonight and Austin on Thursday before rounding out the week opening three shows for Toby Keith in California. For a full list of appearances and tour dates across the country, visit www.jackingram.net.
