Operation Homefront's Ride & Rock For the Troops - September 27th
[Sep. 19, 2008] The 2008 Ride & Rock for the Troops will be held on Saturday, September 27th. This annual motorcycle ride will begin at 2:00 pm at Appleton Harley Davidson in Clarksville and wind through the beautiful Tennessee countryside. The ride will have several stops and will end at a 140 acre farm site in Adams, Tennessee. There will be music throughout the afternoon and evening with LoneStar as the headlining act.

'The 42nd Annual CMA Awards' Will Air Live November 12 on ABC
[Jul. 16, 2008] The Country Music Association and ABC Television Network announced today that "The 42nd Annual CMA Awards" will air live on Wednesday, Nov. 12 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on ABC from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn. The industry's elite and biggest stars will gather on "Country Music's Biggest Night(TM)" to recognize and celebrate the best and brightest performers, songwriters, record producers and music video directors.

Music festivals feel growing pains
[Jun. 17, 2008] MANCHESTER, Tenn. — Last year, Marc Fathauer came to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival from Florida in a rented RV. This year, he slept in a tent. Though Fathauer, 30, of Sarasota was determined to attend, rising gas prices combined with cost of the RV rental kept some friends home and forced Fathauer to cut back.
