Nashville, TN, June 1, 2008 - Country music fans will not want to miss Herrick, one of the hottest new acts appearing during the CMA Music Festival next week. Fans will have the opportunity to see this ground-breaking group in action when Herrick performs at FUEL in downtown Nashville on June 7 at 6 p.m. The event is sponsored by NixaCountry and Lucky Cowboy Productions and is a showcase for artists ready to break through to the next level in the business.

As part of the spirit of the festivities, a raffle drawing to win an autographed fiddle from Charlie Daniels will be held to benefit the American Red Cross Tornado Relief Fund. Interested fans 18 years of age or older can stop by FUEL on June 5, 6 and 7 to purchase a $5 raffle ticket. The charity raffle will close on June 7 at 6:30 p.m., with the winner announced right after Herrick performs (around 7 p.m.)

Herrick is a group with a unique blend of country, rock and indie spirit that has built a big buzz on Music Row with their tight harmonies and well-crafted songs. With their song "Cry Memphis' recently garnering them the International Acoustic Music Award for Group of the Year, Herrick is blazing a new trail in the Nashville arena.

In pulling together tracks for their upcoming album, they have been working with top producers like Buddy Cannon (Kenny Chesney) as well as top musicians in both Nashville and Los Angeles while recording tracks for the album.

Herrick's intricate harmonies, heartfelt lyrics and distinctive sound combining the best of country, rock and blues allows them to stand out in any crowd. The group is formed by lead singer/mandolin player Donna and brothers Kerry (bass) and Kevin (guitar) Herrick. The Herrick brothers began as a duo, singing gospel music around their hometown of Spokane Washington. A few years later, Donna joined the group and they began to write their own music. Their never-ending energy and strong work ethic has led Herrick to playing rodeos, festivals and clubs all over the Northwest and performing with acts like Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Sam Bush, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and more.

Herrick recently signed with Regime Entertainment, an artist management firm with locations in Los Angeles and Nashville. The group is currently in the studio working on their new album and getting ready to embark on a heavy touring schedule across the United States.
