After months of dealing with the worst weather Iowa had to offer; feeling nothing but the havoc and devastation of record setting storms Iowans are ready for some SUMMER FUN! The 2008 Sticks and Stones Country Bash is as the old expression goes “just what the doctor ordered”! Sticks and Stones Outdoors Adventures, Iowa’s newest multi-media company, publishes a magazine and produces both a television show and radio programming focusing on the sports and interest of the segment of America that enjoys the great outdoors. Many of their stories focus around the country music industry and its stars. For the second straight year they have brought some of these stars together to produce a night of great music and family entertainment. I was lucky enough to attend last year’s Bash and can’t say enough about the atmosphere and the overall good management. Good clean family fun and music. The list of performers for this year’s concerts can only mean one thing - HEAD FOR DAYTON JULY 19TH!

The Dayton Rodeo Amphitheater’s gates will open at 3 PM with the first concert scheduled to begin at 4 PM with the final concert scheduled to end at 9:30 (no later than 10 PM). All seating will be general admission $35 in advance and $50 at the gate. Those 12 and under are $20. To purchase advanced tickets call 818-573-8898. (Certain taxes and fees apply) If you are not familiar with the Dayton Rodeo Amphitheater there are 2000 seats available others are welcome to bring their lawn chairs and or blankets to sit in the natural amphitheater. Event will be held rain or shine.
