Katie gets her big Chance!

"Love In My Pocket" should be a marketing man's dream: sung by a cute autistic eight-year-old, proceeds going to the hospital which helped her cope with the illness - I can see top ten written all over it.
I just hope "participating" radio stations - who will be allowed to offer the track as a free download on Valentine's Day (Feb 14) - pay for that privilege. If they don't, there'll be a lot less cash going to the good cause, Nashville's Vanderbilt Kennedey Center Autism Research Program (Triad).
The song was - we're told - written by Katie herself, with help from Dean Chance (her daddy), Ty Morgan and Lance Wing.
It's a simple ditty, with a catchy hook tune and Katie, who has a very sharp-edged voice, carries it off really well.
My View: You'll love it (Ahhhhh, sweet!) or hate it (Yeuch, corny, horrible!) I dare not say which camp I belong to.
Katie Chance: "Love In My Pocket".
Release date: January 22, 2008. (Grass Roots Promotion)
